GITIS almanac is an academic journal, which a collection of articles, written by professors, PhD candidates, renowned directors and actors. The almanac consists of four issues, published every three months and each centered around different themes: Theatre, fine arts, cinema and music.
For this years issue I have decided to refer to the theme of muses in art. Find a human depiction of what theatre, fine arts, music and cinema can look like as a character.
For the covers I’ve used archival costume illustrations by A. Vesnin, I. Nivinsky and P. Galadgev, mixed with handcrafted typography.

GITIS almanac is an academic journal, which a collection of articles, written by professors, PhD candidates, renowned directors and actors. The almanac consists of four issues, published every three months and each centered around different themes: Theatre, fine arts, cinema and music. I have created a cover for all four issues, united by the theme of light.
For this project I wanted to explore how light becomes a collaborator of some sort in all four types of art.
